Humans, I love the Red Panda. I have spent a lot of time playing with them since I have been stranded on Earth. I figured that you might want to know a little about their lives.
VISUAL ANALYSIS:
Red pandas look a lot like raccoons. They have long bushy tails and grow up to be about 42 inches in length - with their tails. They use their long bushy tails to help them balance when they are in trees. They are reddish and white so they can blend in with the red moss and white lichens growing on the

trees where they live. They have fur all over their bodies - even on the bottoms of their cute little paws! They use their long tails to cover themselves in cold winter weather.
WHERE THEY LIVE:
Red pandas habitate in the bamboo forests of the Himalayas, in the Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces in China, and in Myanmar.
WHAT THEY EAT:
My Red Panda friends eat a lot of bamboo leaves. They also like berries, flowers, bird eggs and plants with small leaves. They have bony projections on their little wrists that help them grab bamboo stalks. Giant pandas also have this - it is kind of like having a thumb.
PANDA BABIES:
Red Pandas are born after 134 days into litters of one to four. They stay in the nest for 90 days, then stay close to their mother until mating season. Adult Red Pandas live alone.
PLEASE SAVE THE RED PANDA:
The loss of the Red Pandas' habitat is endangering them. There are less than 2,500 adult Red Pandas.
