Baby Zebras: Why We Have Stripes

Why do Zebras have stripes? Being a highly-advance species I, Dink, am able to communicate with Earthling animals.
Their shiny, black and white striped coat helps them fend off 70% of the sun's heat, my zebra friend's explained. "Our beautiful coat also serves as a camouflage. That striped pattern breaks up the body’s outline and makes it hard for potential predators to see us, especially night."
No two zebras are alike. The differences in stripes gives them their identity among their herd and to their young. Get to know a zebra.
