Humans, I have seen nothing more adorable on this planet than this handful of baby hamsters.
Fun hamster facts:
1.Hamsters are born hairless and blind in a nest of shredded leaves, cotton or toilet paper. After one week they start climbing out of the nest. They are ready to leave the nest and be adopted as pets when three to eight weeks old.
2. Hamsters have little fur-lined pouches on both sides of their heads where they hold food to be eaten later.
3. Hamsters' native habit is Siberia, Mongolia, Northern China to Korea, and Syria to India. They are shipped all over the planet to be pets for humans.
4. Dwarf hamsters must be continuously played with by their humans or, if left alone for two to three weeks, they will become untame again.
5. SIberian hamsters become bonded with their mates. If they are separated from their mate they become depressed. Boy hamsters especially become sad and eat too much and become overweight.
