Earthlings, your rhinos are endangered and they are mad about it. The reason they are killed is the craziest reason we have seen in the vast universe. Talk about Didiot-like behavior.
First, a few rhino facts.
Rhinos are not all alike. You have five species of rhinos on Earth. In Africa you have the black and white rhinos. In India you have the Indian, Javan and Sumatran Rhinos. The Indian and Javan have one horn, the others have two.
These spectacular creatures are the second largest land mammal on your planet (the elephant is larger). These sweet guys are herbivores so they only eat plants. These creatures live alone. They only use their horns to defend themselves against lions, tiger and hyenas.
The rhino is one of the most endangered Earthlings. Their populations are dangerously low:
Black Rhino (Diceros bicornis): 2,400
White Rhino (Ceratotherium simum): 7,500
Sumatran Rhino (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis): 400
Javan Rhino (Rhinoceros sondaicus): fewer than 100
Indian Rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis): more than 2,000
Here is the reason Rhinos are angry at humans: some humans kill them is for their horns. To kill such a huge, beautiful animal for such a small part of their body is one of the most Didiot things we have ever encountered. Some humans think that rhino horns can cure everything from fever to food poisoning and enhance sexual pleasure.
Humans, do not believe it. Leave the rhinos alone. Think "Viva Viagra" next time you want to kill a rhino.
