Dink says: Beware of Vampire Energy

I, Dink am dressed like a vampire to remind every human to watch out for vampire energy usage.

Beware of those idle energy suckers which drain your energy even when not in use. Unplug everything!

When your cell phone is fully charged, unplug it from the wall because it is wasting energy and driving up your electric bill. Unplug your TV, iPod, video game console, toaster, everything in your dwelling or office! Do not allow them to be energy vampires.

Make it easy. Plug your entire entertainment center into one power strip.  When your TV, video equipment, game console, etc. sits with those deceiving "standbye" lights glowing they are sucking energy! Simply unplug the power strip from the wall when not using to stop these vampires.

Earthlings, I chose to wear my pirate outfit this week because it reminds me of the Earthlings who work on Wall Street.

A pirate has no understanding of the human mumbo jumbo financial meltdown which has occurred, and neither do we aliens despite the fact that we are much smarter than the human species.

Why did your Wall Street CEO suits walk away with hundreds of millions of dollars, allowing Sarah Palin's "Joe Six Pack" to end up holding the bag?

Watermelon Dink

Dink as a watermelon....

Earthlings, Meera is driving me crazy. The summer is over and her way of commemorating the end is to put a watermelon head on me.

Human, you have to help me. Please send pictures of your animals so that Meera finds no more reasons to dress me up to look like a complete Didiot.

We do not have watermelons on our Planet. Drauk likes watermelons too. For a strange reason, he got slapped by one of the female Earthlings when he told her that she had beautiful watermelons. I do not understand why that happened. Go figure, you humans. It's 9th month here and we still do not understand you. We'll keep trying.

Dink as Uncle Sam

Meera made me dress up like America's Uncle Sam because Uncle Sam is very wealthy. We read this week that he is going to help Wall Street (New York City, USA) companies with $700 billion to $1 trillion.

We are befuddled by this since the American tax payer is going to end up paying for somebody else's mistakes. We do not understand you humans but we will keep trying.

We did some simple math. What if Uncle Sam had spent $700 billion to $1 trillion investing into wind farms, solar, geothermal, and energy efficiency instead of saving a bunch of stiff, tie wearing suits from losing their fancy jobs. As intelligent as we are, we do not understand what they do anyway.

America has about 300 million humans who inhabit approximately 100 million households. What if Uncle Sam spent that "Wall Street bail my ass out" money and gave each American household $10,000 to put down on buying solar panels for their house instead?
